In order to predict the likelihood of ulceration in patients with various clinical and pathogenetic forms of the diabetic foot syndrome, it is recommended to use the software product developed by us. Thanks to a careful selection of the main parameters of plantar pressure in certain areas of the foot, in conditions of a non-specialized multi-field medical institution, it makes it possible to predict the likelihood of formation of foot ulcers. This, in turn, allows us to take the appropriate correct decision about the further tactics of treating patients with various forms of the diabetic foot syndrome. At a low probability of relapse in patients with diabetic foot syndrome of ulceration, it is recommended to make special unloading and shock-absorbing insoles for "wide" shoes. With a high probability of recurrence of ulcer, it is recommended that the patient wear orthopedic shoes.
